You have to hire Vox Dj's if you want your wedding to be awesome! If you love to dance and have a good crowd at your wedding that loves to as well, this is the DJ to hire. I admit that they are not cheap and that you could definitely find a DJ cheaper. BUT I've spoken with those other DJ's and they could barely carry on a lively conversation, let alone an incredible wedding reception.So we splurged and hired VOX. Which honestly was the best money we spent for the wedding. They are not only professional, but they make the reception way better than you could have envisioned. Our guests were definitely the dancing type, as well as my husband and I. So having someone to rock the dance floor was very important. And Vox DJ's definitely know what they are doing.We can't wait to have another party to hire them again!

Vox DJs and KC Campbell were a great addition to our reception. Not only were they flexible about the type of music we wanted and last minute changes, but KC was perfectly professional and added so much energy to the party. We got so many compliments about our DJ following the wedding that we know we made the right choice about the company and DJ.

Vox DJs was amazing!!! We were recommended to them by a friend and contacted them to set up a meeting. KC and I hit it off from day one and talked for 30-45 minutes on the phone about myself, my wife and our lives which was meaningful to us as it showed that he cared about who we were as people. To my amazement, 3 weeks later at a bridal show, my wife ran into KC and they started talking about all of the details that he and I had talked about. This made it clear that we weren't just a "number" to him and that he took extreme pride in his business and his clients.The week before our wedding we sat down with KC and he came up with an extremely creative way to do our wedding entrances, which my wife and I really enjoyed. Though it took a few hours to come up with all of the songs we needed it was well worth the time and everyone at our wedding enjoyed the personal touch that we put together.The day of the event couldn't have gone better. KC and his team did an amazing job keeping the event flowing and playing all of the music we requested and left off the stuff we didn't want to here. Highlights of the night include my dad getting up and doing an air guitar solo and another guest getting behind the DJ table and "guest" DJing a song or two. KC and his team were fun, energetic and engaging which really enhanced our event.He and his company are truly a first class entertainment company and I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone.

We booked VOX DJs for our July 2nd wedding at a bridal show - KC was the one who sold it! There was no disappointment in our decision - everything was better than what we hoped for. Prior to our wedding and on the day of our wedding, we worked with DJ Stefan, who made everything perfect! We couldn't have imagined having another DJ. We had everything planned out from which song was going to be played at what time to which dance was going to be danced to who was oging to say what. Though we had a timeline, Stefan was perfect at noticing what needed to be done at each time. Everything moved smoothly, and the party rocked from 6:00p.m.-12:00a.m....everyone danced the whole time! It was an amazing time, and DJ Stefan is the one who made our wedding so perfect! Thank you DJ Stefan for everything you did for our wedding!! We couldn't have imagined it any more wonderful!! We LOVED working with Roderick for our wedding! He was what SOLD the Vox Dj's brand for us. We set up a meeting with Roderick and instantly knew that he had the vibe and enthusiasm we were looking for in our DJ. He was extremely quick to respond to emails and phone calls, and was willing to help us with everything from our budget to playlist. Though Vox was more expensive than the other DJs we were considering for the wedding, we felt that Roderick EXCEEDED expectations in every respect on our actual wedding day. He was totally ON IT with witty commentary and introductions of our family members and their respective speeches. Even more than that, I feel like he really understood us, and our musical tastes as well as the "feel" and "mood" of our wedding. As soon as the ceremony was over, and Eugene and I went upstairs to have our "quiet moment"... I heard Edward Sharpe "Home" come on... followed by a Fiest song... and I literally was tearing up because I knew that the DJ "got us". Needless to say, we trusted him entirely from that moment... and the music and MC'ing was FLAWLESS. Thanks so much for making our day so special!

VOX DJs services were great! KC was very easy and fun to work with during the initial planning meeting and even worked within our budget! KC also took our input on style, what we wanted from our DJ, etc and chose the perfect fit for our needs with Aaron!! Aaron was amazing during the planning, always responding quickly to emails, had great ideas and suggestions that were helpful, was very professional, fun, and provided exactly what we wanted during our ceremony and reception!!! I would highly recommend VOX DJ's and Aaron to anyone!!

A DJ can make or break it for you...go with Vox DJs. We lost our original DJ within months of the wedding and KC Campbell really came through for us big time! We had so many guests coming up to us during and after the wedding to tell us how much the liked the music and the DJ. He really knows how to read his audience and plays great music! Can't speak highly enough about this company! Book them!

Ill save you the long read, but in short - Hire VOX DJS for your wedding! DJ Andy did our wedding (ceremony, cocktail hour, reception) and we couldn't of been happier! He was responsive to all emails and phone calls, was very accommodating and easy to work with during our planning meeting and the day of, well, he did awesome. The reception went like clockwork, the guests danced all night and the music was great.From the office staff to the DJs, everyone was professional. Well worth the money spent. Highly, highly recommended!

Roderick rocked our socks! Played all the music we asked for & kept everyone on their feet the whole night! We LOVED him as a DJ & as a person! So professional and such a nice energy to have around on the most important day of your life!

We couldn't have had a better DJ for our wedding. Diego was A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.!!! Everyone loved him and he did everything in his power to make everything perfect (which it was!). We had to book them only 30 days before our wedding due to our other DJ backing out...and boy, was it worth every penny! Great price, great customer service and I would use them again, and again, and again. Diego kept the party going - kept everyone dancing (I don't think the floor was empty - ever!) and he made sure he knew everyone's names and made our pre-determined schedule run like a dream. If you want the best DJ in the SoCal area - just call Vox.

We booked VOX DJ as our entertainment for the reception only. Got a great deal through a bridal expo promotion. The office staff is great and KC Campbell is such a trip! We ended up going with DJ Diego upon the advice of our wedding coordinator. He was great, but there were a few snafus at the wedding, such as:--the dance lights were not ready to go when the reception started. They were delivered halfway through the reception, and set up right before dancing began...so we were without our lights (that we paid for) for an hour or two.--when Diego announced the groom's dad, he said "father of the bride". Whoops. That was a big error.--Diego played our slideshow before we were sitting in our seats, so we missed the first part of it.--the dance music was a little off. I mean, we did submit a whole "please play" list, but some songs were not played, and from what I remember, there was a lot of random disco music that I didn't request.To sum it up, maybe it was an off night for him, but there were some mistakes here and there. If I booked Vox again, I'd probably get KC instead. Diego was really nice though, and gave us a disc with our wedding songs on it.

My wife and I decided upon VOX DJs for our recent wedding and chose KC Campbell as our DJ. One of our biggest concerns with our event was people having fun and staying involved as it was a daytime wedding and reception. We couldn’t have been more pleased with our choice and how everything turned out. We definitely recommend this vendor.Timeframe: July 2010Customer Service: Excellent! The VOX DJs staff were on top of all details we expected them to be. From initial contact through contract signing through our final pre-wedding meeting with KC, everything was clear and concise and all staff were friendly and helpful. All e-mails and phone messages were responded to in very quick fashion. VOX also has an online planning system to assist with and organize music selection prior to the final meeting with the DJ. We found this very helpful and it allowed us to weigh alternatives and focus decisions on specific songs rather than just choosing broad genres. Everything about their service shows that they’re focused on the customer and making the customer happy. We certainly were.Knowledge: Excellent! Their knowledge really came through during our final preparatory meeting with KC. His experience and recommendations allowed us to alter our reception timelines in certain places that just made the whole thing flow better. He also assisted us with song choices that we either didn’t have an initial opinion on or in some cases had just chosen poorly. Basically, he took what we had from the online planning and offered up advice without pressure that allowed us to tailor the music and flow of our reception. We were very pleased after leaving that meeting and, after having seen it all in action at the reception, his advice was all spot-on.Quality: Beyond Excellent! The wedding and reception were a huge hit and everyone had an amazing time. An early morning wedding and early afternoon reception are, I would imagine, hard events to keep the energy level up at. KC exceeded all expectations in this. Everyone was dancing right up to the end. His personality, interaction with the crowd, and energy were impeccable. I really can’t say enough here…superb quality!!Price: Excellent! We really didn’t shop around too much on DJs. We checked out a couple of booths at one bridal show is all. KC and staff were working a bridal fashion show at that event and we chose them based on their performance there rather than any research. I know the VOX prices were cheaper than either of the two booths we did visit and that VOX was within the budget that we had allocated for a DJ. Regardless of our lack of research, they were worth every penny spent based on the rest of this review and how things turned out.Overall: Excellent! In my limited experience, the DJ can make or break the energy and fun that people have at a wedding reception. I’ve seen a few miserable ones and a few good ones. I’ve not seen one as good as KC. Again, we couldn’t have been more pleased with our choice in DJs and should we ever have occasion to use a DJ for another event, we’ll choose VOX for sure.Herb and Stephany

Our original DJ flaked on us two weeks before the wedding so I was very happy that VOX DJs was able to come to the rescue at the last minute. Part of what sold me on them is that it was great working with Roderick over the phone. However, he wasn't available for our wedding day and we were assigned DJ Diego. Diego was very professional when we met with him but the day of the wedding there were a few hiccups. Diego played the songs we requested for the ceremony but it was a little awkward that our recessional song wasn't cued up and ready to go when we were pronounced husband and wife. He had a good selection of songs during dinner but didn't play the song we asked for as the first dinner song (our parents wedding song) until I re-requested it partway through dinner. Similarly, during the dancing portion of the evening I had maxed out my must play song request list but failed to hear a lot of those songs and instead got songs that I would've put on my "do not play" list if there had been more room on there. He took requests from my friends but again most of these songs were the ones that were on my original must play list already. All in all, my friends and family had a good time dancing but it could have been even better had the DJ gone with what we had discussed and agreed upon earlier.

Working with Roderick and Vox DJs was such a pleasure. They are very professional, friendly, and provide the best customer service. In the beginning stages of wedding planning, I was already in touch with Roderick but wanted to look at other vendors. He never once pressured me to choose his company. He told me he wanted me to have the wedding I wanted. That spoke volumes to me as to his personality and it showed confidence in him and his company. I dont think I even looked at any vendors after that--I was 100% sure he was who I wanted to have at my wedding. He did not disappoint! He had the crowd going all night and did a fantastic job that night!Roderick, you are a true gem in this industry. I was honored to have you as our DJ/Emcee on our special day. The party was just simply awesome with the service my wife and I got from VOX DJ's! The party could've gone on forever! The atmosphere was pumping and the crowd rocking! Thank you for the simply amazing DJ VOX! You guys ROCK!

I had so much fun and so did everyone else from what I'm told. As long as that's the case, what could be negative? Vox was very professional and easy to work with. Their web directory was simple to use to add our favorites and of course the "do not play" list. Couldn't be happier!

Our DJ was incredible for our wedding. Kept the entire dance floor full and played everything we wanted and was very flexible with what we wanted. He made sure that we were happy and that was his main concern. I would highly recommend them to anyone who asked. Thanks again

I will not recommend Vox DJs to friends or colleagues, unless they can get their hands on the owner, KC. He was not available for our wedding so we had to settle on one of his employees (Diego). The guy was arrogant, shady, rude to our guests, and most importantly, didn't play music we requested. Diego played a bunch of hip-hop/rap stuff that we DID NOT request. What is disappointing is that they say IF you want custom music, to go on their website and create the custom list. They even say that the work you put in will ensure you get what you want. That DID NOT happen with us at all. I even had my guess commented on the music that was played during our reception because our friends and family knew we would never picked such crappy music!Overall, it was money NOT well spent. They say one thing and then do something completely different.Think very long and hard about investing money with this service UNLESS you get KC!!! KC was awesome when I met him. Unfortunately, he wasn't available to do our wedding.

Roderick was great! Professional, but also really relaxed and fun at our event. We gave him 100s of songs, and he played all the right ones. It's hard to find a DJ that is also a great MC, but Roderick definitely fits the bill. VOX DJs is a really reliable company with a lot of experience. They made the process so smooth! We would highly recommend them to any couples getting married!

KC Campbell of VOX DJs did a phenomenal job for us at our recent wedding. KC kept everyone involved in the wedding and kept the dance floor packed the entire night. We received a lot of comments from our friends and family about what a great job they felt KC did. KC listened to all of our requests, made useful recommendations, was professional, and played a large part in making our wedding a succes. I highly recommend KC of VOX DJs and am very appreciative of the job he did.
