Nicole photographed my wedding on 2011.08.19 and I am soooo happy with the product of her work. The photos are stunning and she didn't miss a moment. We asked her to photograph for 10 hours, from the morning when I was getting ready with my mom and sister, all the way to the end of the night after the band left. Nicole followed us to four different locations (hotel, chapel, beach, reception hall) and she photographed the best angles, best backdrops, best lighting, best EVERYTHING. I knew she was good because I had looked through her portfolio before asking her to do my wedding, but when I finally got the photos back it was so thrilling to see that my wedding photos were as magical and as perfect as I imagined they would be. Something else I really appreciated was that Nicole works like a stealth. By the time we got to the reception hall I lost track of here whereabouts. I knew she was around capturing the most important moments like the speeches, first dance, cake cutting, etc. but it wasn't till I saw the photos that I realized she had been working like a machine the entire time. She took some really amazing photos of all the guests, of the band, of all the little details that my husband and I poured our hearts into to make our reception a little extra special. Nicole is very professional, very kind and wonderful to work with, very consistent in her work, very organized, and very very talented. She was also very quick to edit all our photos and give them to us. We got over thirteen hundred in less than a three-month turn-around. I highly recommend Nicole. After the wedding day is over and done, all that remains are the memories. Nicole captured and preserved all the best memories of my wedding day and I will be forever grateful!

When we first met Nicole, we were in the early stages of planning our destination wedding and were just being exposed to the myriad of choices when looking into hiring a photographer. We can say from experience, the process can definitely be an arduous one. Luckily for us, Nicole came highly recommended from close family and friends that knew her and the outstanding work she produces. Nicole, though frequently traveling up and down the west coast, made it a point to come meet us between trips so that we could get to know her and see more of her work in person. As Nicole said so perfectly, after a couple hours the three of us felt like we were longtime friends catching up over tea and cappuccinos! She had a great personality and charm about her and we knew that we had found someone that we would be completely comfortable and thrilled to shoot photos with. The first work we did with Nicole was when she shot our engagement photos during the summer. Prior to meeting up with her in LA, we were brainstorming on a location where we could take some early evening photos. Nicole brilliantly suggested that we shoot at the Venice Canals, a little known treasure right in Venice Beach. The location was certainly impressive! Not only was it fitting that we were being photographed in a beautiful Venice-like location prior to our wedding in Florence, Italy, it was symbolically special for us since one of our first dates was on a gondola ride. Nicole scored double points on that! In all seriousness though, the photos that Nicole produced from the engagement session were marvelous! She truly has an artistic ability to capture special moments, and the colors and perspective that are present in the photos were outstanding! That's when we absolutely knew the wedding would be spectacular and the excitement definitely kicked in! Not only that, but throughout the entire session of shooting with Nicole, she made us feel relaxed and at ease while having the time of our lives! Then came the big day, our wedding in Florence, Italy! We began shooting around 11am and Nicole didn't put the camera down well after the sun went down - she gave an unimaginable amount of effort (alongside our spectacular cinematographer Ari Perilstein from Custom Made Productions)! Saying that Nicole worked hard and hustled would be selling her short; she worked with purpose, professionalism, but most importantly, passion. That's the Nicole Goddard that we will always think of when we see our wedding photos. It wouldn't seem as though there were enough minutes in the day to capture all the angles and variations of lighting in each location; but what came out in Nicole's final work was perfection! The photos Nicole produced for us have beyond exceeded what we could have ever imagined... And while we think our photos speak for themselves, we'd like to offer our deepest gratitude to the multi talented artist behind the camera lens. Nicole, thank you so much for all the time, energy and precision you put into our wedding - you truly captured the spirit and joy of the most special day of our lives. We absolutely love the photos that you took and will always look back at them with complete happiness and remember every detail during the most extraordinary day, our lovely wedding. Nicole Goddard is TRULY a photographer in mind, spirit, soul and body (she literally has a "hangover" the day after your wedding from working so hard!). I knew Nicole from childhood, but she photographed my sister's wedding as well with another dear family friend's wedding, so I knew going into it that she would be exceptional! Nicole was the most helpful vendor I worked with during the long journey of wedding planning. Before she even took one picture of us as a couple, she was attentive, always in communication with us, and made us feel really comfortable and gave us confidence we made the right decision in a photographer. Nicole is so down to earth that communicating your needs and wishes and wants to her feels like you are speaking to a very professional best friend, a great combination! We had Nicole shoot our Rehearsal Dinner and our Wedding, and it was really awesome to spend more time with her and get a "trial" in photos before the big day! By the time she met us at our venue, I was SO EXCITED to see her which made taking pictures before the ceremony FUN and RELAXING! It really allowed my husband and I feel free, romantic and completely natural during our shoot. The pictures turned out better than words, and I owe my lifetime of memories to Nicole. I will always be able to cherish she was present on our Wedding day, we are so lucky!

All Brides To-Be, Nicole Goddard came highly recommended by my wedding planner, Kelly Demaray. Know that I was the bride who wanted a photographer who was someone that would fit with our personality and be someone that wanted to be part of our wedding party. I was also seeking someone who would not try to take advantage of me as so many do in the wedding industry. I knew what I wanted: (a) to not see my fiancé for the first time until I walked down the aisle (2) no photo album and (3) no enlarged prints. The first time I met Nicole it was like meeting with an old friend. I have never met anyone so passionate about their profession. When you first meet Nicole you feel like you have known her your entire life. She is on it! Nicole scoped out the location beforehand and even our “play around” pictures turned out good (see the first picture in the sequence above). When we went to our reception venue, the manager shared that there had not been one photographer who had been able to secure a good picture in their particular venue. Nicole took the initiative to ask their permission to properly set up the lighting to ensure that we had the highest quality pictures. Most people would have used this as an excuse to be lazy and just get paid. Not Nicole! The day of our wedding Nicole was most impressive. She has a way of being direct while being courteous and fun. Our wedding videographer shared that he was most impressed by her. My Mom repetitively said, “Your wedding photographer is the sweetest girl and I hope that you are in touch with her for the rest of your life, she is wonderful”. Nicole takes whatever is in store for the day whether it is rain, shine, clouds and/or family situations and makes it work. She is the consummate professional and has an eye for love, fun and intimacy. Your personalities will shine through your pictures with Nicole’s work. After seeing Nicole’s work, I knew what I wanted (a) to see my fiancé in an intimate setting before the ceremony (b) a photo album made by Nicole and (3) an enlarged photo stretched on canvas. Nicole will always be a part of one of the most special days in our lives and we recommend you invite her into your family on your wedding. Nicole photographed our October wedding in Seattle. The photographs that she took are works of art...she captured the entire day beautifully and the pictures really tell a story. Every time we look at them you feel like you are in the moment again and she captured the feeling of the day from start to finish. I cannot even begin to say how talented she is and very professional. She made us feel extremely comfortable in front of the camera including the famliy and guests. She knew just the right moments to photograph and her artistic skills are impeccable. With our wedding party shots she would just walk along side us and capture the moment and with the feeling of the fall season and the sun shining through, her pictures made you feel like you were in a painting. Our wedding photos will be treasured for a lifetime and the final leather bound album that she put together for us represents a very treasured heirloom! I recommend Nicole to everyone that I know!

We used Nicole to photograph our wedding, and have received nothing but RAVE reviews from our family and friends about the quality of our wedding pictures. I have never for one second regretted our decision to have her as our photographer, as she really captured the most special moments of our day in an amazing way, and we could not have asked for better photographs. My wife and I were married back in 2008 and knew that we didn't want a videographer to be present at our wedding since all wedding videos become unwatchable except to the newly married couple (and that's even a stretch!) With that in mind, we needed a top notch photographer who would document our amazing day from start to finish and be able to tell the story through 'simple' photos. We began our search and quickly found out that great wedding photographers are similar to a Yeti - meaning they are extremely rare to come by. And even when you do find a photographer you like, you're likely to pay an absorbent amount by time all is said and done. Our wedding planner told us to meet with Nicole so we did - and by time we left the coffee house we met at we were sure that she would be the perfect fit. Needless to say, we hired her and she proved to be exactly what we wanted and needed. We now have over a thousand beautiful and flawless photos from the prep to night's end that demonstrate what we feel was the essence of our wedding. We love the book(s) she gave us a few months later, as well. Anytime someone comes over they become captivated with the photos in the book and the few we had enlarged for our home. There isn't a day that goes by that I regret not getting a videographer. When you have someone like Nicole and her team come in to capture your most precious life events, you can be sure that you'll remember it forever through her photos. Personally, I was sold off of her website which demonstrates all her great work she's done.

It was amazing we found Nicole to shoot our wedding - she was a friend of my aunt's friend's daughter! We looked at so many photographers, but when it came down to it she was the most reasonably priced for the best quality even though we were from Seattle, she was in California and our wedding was in northern Michigan. Nicole was amazing every step of the way. Since we had to plan long distance she proved to be incredibly responsive and timely in the preparation stages. Once at the wedding site, she blended right in with the festivities and we loved having her be a part of our celebration. We were probably a wedding photographer's worst nightmare because we didn't want to do any posed shots, but only candid ones. Nicole did not argue or fuss, but almost lovingly embraced the way we wanted our photographs to be taken. She did persuade us to take a short session of just the two of us which we ended up being very grateful for. The collection of photos we have from our whole weekend of our wedding is beautiful. We feel they really capture the joy, beauty and fun we had during the whole celebration! Nicole is an amazing artist and a pleasure of a person to work with and share such a special occasion.

My husband and I were married back in 2007 in Seattle and were lucky enough to have Nicole as our photographer. As one of the other posters said, you feel like she is an old friend. Photography was one area where we wanted the best and we found her. Nicole instantly connected to us and knew exactly what would make our wedding day special and how to capture moments on film that would make it memorable. She has ideas and techniques that I have never seen in other photography. When our guests saw our wedding photos, they were amazed. My sister hired Nicole for her wedding this last summer and we already know that we'll hire her again when my brother gets married. I would recommend her to anyone I know! She's fabulous!

Nicole Goddard did a fabulous job on our wedding pictures. She has a gift when it comes to capturing interesting and beautiful moments. Moreover, she is very easy to work with, fun, and professional. I couldn't have been happier! She is so good that my husband and I have decided she is our photographer for life.
