The team of Miguel and Solana were amazing! Both our wedding pictures and our engagement photos were better than we expected. They are focused and experienced. They feed off of each other's ideas and are connected in their process. They not only were professional, but were very friendly and outgoing with our wedding guests. They fit right in to our wedding. We knew the first time that we met them that Soulmates photography was the right fit for us. And the price was reasonable for what they offered. And we got some new friends out of it too :)

Upon our initial meeting with Miguel and Solana, my fiance (now husband) and I knew our search was over because we had found the perfect team to photograph our BIG DAY. We were 1st introduced to them when Miguel shot our friends' wedding in Sept. 09. We were suprised with how energetic and excited Miguel was, and how determined he was to get great shots. When we actually sat down to meet with Miguel and Solana, they were so interested in getting to know us as a couple, to really try and get a feel for our "style." Right away, it is apparent that photography is their passion and they realize that as a client you are entrusting them to capture one of the most special events of your life. They take the time, energy, and go all-out to capture every special moment, and come up with the most amazing shots. I don't think I have ever described anybody's wedding pictures as "cool," "special," and "different." But, that's what they do! They make your pictures look so unique from anything you've seen or expected. I am so truly impressed by their work. When you hire Miguel and Solana, you've not only hired the BEST team ever, but you've made lifelong friends... (The family is also so impressed that Miguel and Solana will be shooting by brother-in-law's wedding in a few months)

Miguel and Solona are beyond amazing! We knew immediately during our initial meeting that they were the only choice for our wedding photography team! Both have a unique, artistic eye that results in beautiful, creative photos! Miguel will do whatever it takes to get the perfect photo (he climbs trees, lays on the ground, hangs over balconies, literally whatever it takes!) Miguel + Solana spent time with us and really got to know who we were as a couple. They came up with the perfect concept and location(s) for our engagement photos. After a minor brush with the law (which we quickly got out of thanks to Solana's quick wit and beautiful smile...), we had an awesome shoot reflective of our personalities. We used the engagement photos to create photo books as gifts for our parents on our wedding day and everyone loved them! As a gift for my husband on our wedding day, I secretly did a boudoir session with Solana. I was a little nervous going into the shoot but Solana was incredibly professional and totally made me feel comfortable. Miguel was on-set to set up the lighting, angles, etc. but left after we were set up and Sol did all the shooting. She was incredibly creative and gave me suggestions and direction which resulted in AMAZING photos! I couldn't have been more pleased with the results and my husband loved the photos! Finally, when our wedding day finally arrived, Migs and Sol arrived on time with amazing energy! Solana walked in as I was getting my hair and makeup done and beginning to get overwhelmed. She immediately came in and took charge of the room. We were in a crunch for time but both Miguel and Solana were very efficient in getting our pre-ceremony shots taken so we got back on our schedule. Their ability to play off each other and share concepts and ideas was crucial in getting great shots and angles. They helped keep the flow of the reception on track and ensured we got all of the photos we wanted. Their amazing personalities mixed in so well with our guests that several people commented on how much they loved them! Overall we had an outstanding experience with Miguel and Solana and would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone!

Miguel and Solana did a wonderful job from our initial meeting to the engagement shoot. They were on there before, during and after our wedding. It was so random having come across your website online and having that "A-ha" moment! Your pictures spoke to us and we knew we wanted to book you right away!!! Where do I start? Miguel was highly professional and well organized from the day he made his first presentation until we received our wedding album. If you work with Miguel, the first thing you’ll notice is his enthusiasm. There’s nothing that makes you feel better about a photographer like when you know he’s up for the challenge and takes pride in taking great photos. Miguel has a special knack for making you feel comfortable while having your photo taken. After a day of engagement photos and your wedding day, you’ve spent a lot of time smiling and striking a pose; Miguel makes it fun and understands how to help you look relaxed so you look great in the pictures. Miguel was also great when photographing our friends and family and, because of his experience, he always knew how to be in the right position during the event as not to miss an important moment. Miguel has a creative eye for photography that makes his shots a cut above your traditional wedding photographer. He can add artistic flair to your pictures whether it’s creative shadowing, playing with light, interesting angles or Photoshop effects to make pictures that you couldn’t get anywhere else. Miguel provided us with hundreds of shots and a few very special “remixed” versions of the best photos that had extra texture, unique lightning effects or non-traditional hues. He also provided different versions of photos so we could have the option of choosing black-and-white or color. In the end, what really matters is that Miguel gave us hundreds of photos, many of which are priceless images of my wife, friends and family. His photos not only were creative but they showed a perfect blend of heart and technical skill. After your wedding, all you’re left with are your memories and the pictures, and Miguel captured the look, feel and emotions of our wedding day perfectly. We highly recommend him to capture your memories as well!

Where do I begin? Miguel along with his wife Solana are the best team you could hire to photograph your special events!! My husband and I hired Miguel for both our engagement and our wedding photos and we couldn't be happier with the results! The day of our engagement session Murphy's Law was in full effect. Everything that could go wrong did! Horrendous traffic on the fwy making me late to the appointment, forgot accessories to my wardrobe, bad weather, etc. It even started to lightweight sprinkle on us and I was wearing a sundress! I was getting so sad thinking about how our beachside pictures would not turn out good because of the bad weather but the whole time Miguel kept reassuring me that they would get the shots that I was looking for. Miguel had so many great background ideas and poses. When we received the Engagement photos my husband (fiancé at the time) and I were blown away!! You couldn't tell the weather was overcast! The pictures were beautiful!!! We used several in our montage for our reception and we enlarged two on canvas to display at our wedding. The day of the wedding Miguel was totally on point again! Our wedding pictures were the types of pictures you see in wedding magazines!!! I never imagined that I could have such amazing wedding pictures! I couldn't believe how they came out! Miguel takes so many pictures so you have several styles or positions to choose from. My husband and I had so much fun looking through our wedding pictures!! We can't wait to display our pictures in our new home! Everyone that I have shared the pictures with are blown away! They think I must have paid a fortune to hire Miguel but not so! Miguel was very affordable and willing to work with our budget! We are soo grateful to have been referred to Miguel! We look forward to hiring him again for our other projects and events and we highly recommend him to everyone!!! If you are debating which photographer to use LOOK NO FURTHER trust me when I say Miguel is what you are looking for!

I cannot say enough good things about Miguel and Solana, they make a great team! They were so professional and fun to work with at the wedding, my guests were commenting on how cool they were! One word really describes Miguel's work ... WOOOOOOOOOOOOW! This guy is amazing! Not only his artistic abilities, but his personality as well! He shot our wedding on August 7, 2010 & I must say, I was thoroughly impressed by Miguel's gift for photography and ability to coordinate so many people (22 total in my wedding party) during such a hectic time. He really has a genuine way of making you feel at ease. We researched photographers for months and no one compared to Miguel's quality of work and artistic capabilities. He truly has a unique artistic expression that comes to life in his photographs. He always seems to be in the right place at the right time for the perfect shot ... whether it's up in a tree, down in the sand, in the water, etc. Miguel is not your traditional photographer (although he can be if that's what you want). He has this very contemporary/modern style that is different from today's photographers. He catches unique angles, backgrounds, etc. that regular wedding photographers would pass by for traditional type photos. His style is new & fresh to keep up with a fast moving industry. In addition, Miguel's prices are very competitive based on what we found while researching wedding photographers. Moreover, beyond the exceptional photographs & memories captured, he provided us with every image taken (over 1,000), revised/touched up images, Engagement Session (Miguel was so great to work with during our Venice Beach ES, great pics we were able to use for the wedding slide show which he also created himself & was a huge hit at the wedding), etc. THIS GUY DOES IT ALL!!! I GUARANTEE if you utilize Miguel for your wedding photography, you will not be disappointed. In my opinion (and everyone else of the 250 guests at our wedding), Miguel does the greatest work I have ever seen! I am not over-exaggerating here ... this guy is second to none! He is very professional, communication was perfect, quality of services vs. cost far exceeded my expectations, etc. Put your memories in his hands & he'll capture every special moment & then some! If you want a photographer that you can count on, Miguel is the perfect artist for your wedding!

Miguel is an amazing photographer and will do just about anything to get the perfect shot! One of my favorite pictures from our engagement session was taken from a tree he climbed! He has a great eye for pictures and sees beauty where the rest of us may not have imagined it! I absolutely LOVE all of my pictures and I got them back in record time!! I would highly recommend Miguel! He has a love for his job and an enthusiasm that is contagious! I don’t normally like having my picture taken but Miguel made me feel so comfortable and took some amazing shots along the way! He gave us so many ideas and worked with us on pictures we really wanted to have. I can’t say enough good things about Miguel! All of my friends and family who have seen his work are amazed at how beautiful all of my pictures turned out! I would hire him again in a heart beat!

We booked Miguel after we saw pictures from a friend of a friend's wedding that he shot….we were very impressed with the pictures! When we first met him we were blown away by his personality, he made us feel like we’d known him for years. Not only does Miguel make everyone feel comfortable and at easy he is a very talented photographer! Professional, Affordable, High Quality, Easy going, The Family approves :) What comes to mind Miguel Torres... I met Miguel when my sister was planning her wedding. Miguel was outgoing, energetic and full of life. I really liked Miguel's work and the work he did on my sister's engagement and wedding. I went ahead and hired him for my engagement session which turned out superb and my wedding. Miguel caught all the memorable moments during the event. He was everywhere; I was impressed by all his shots. He was really accommodating and didn't mind all the other cameras flashing away; Miguel still managed to get the "picture perfect shot." Hands down the most incredible pictures I have ever laid my eyes on. Miguel was easy to work with, energetic, and told us exactly what he was looking for. The photoshoot was easy and he was direct and exact with his words and ideas on where we should be at any given moment. Super professional and you really can tell that this man loves his job. It was not Miguel's first rodeo, that I could tell right from the start!

Miguel and his staff are the ultimate in professional. Due to short timing we were not able to meet with Miguel before our wedding however we could sense we were in good hands. Miguel and his assistant arrived on time and took amazing photos. To say we love our wedding photos would be an understatement. The photos are unique and artistic, no canned poses or arrangements. Since our wedding many of our friends have hired Miguel for their wedding and family photos.
