LOVE!! Laura makes incredibly beautiful things and she is super easy to work with! Communicating with her is a breeze and her turnaround time is quick. She is also very amicable to making changes or edits to an order. In addition to calligraphy services, I asked Laura to illustrate a color sign for our reception - I had an idea of how I wanted it to look, and Laura's talented hands turned my idea into awesome reality. Laura Hooper Calligraphy is a class act! I worked with Laura directly and she was so easy to communicate with and extremely quick to respond to my questions. The forms she provided for creating an order are very simple and easy to use. She's put a lot of time into making the ordering process easy and it shows. I ordered maps for my wedding guest gift bags and they were on my doorstep within a day or two of finalizing the proof. I couldn't believe how fast the turn around was and the maps are absolutely adorable! Laura improved on every tweak or change I had to the existing map I was using. I can't wait for our guests to see them next month - they are so unique and fun and I am sure there will be much "Ooohing and Awwwing" over them! Though there are many frustrating things that can happen during wedding planning, Laura Hooper is a true professional and her work does not disappoint!

Laura Hooper was great to work with and was able to create a fun map depicting all of our wedding venues for our out-of-town guests. I never thought it would be so easy to work with someone who is 2,200 miles away, but Laura and her staff made the whole process worry-free! They worked with me via email and phone to make sure that the map they created fit in with my fiance's and my personalities. The map turned out awesome, and I hope that all brides will allow Laura Hooper to incorporate that personal touch into their big days!

Laura did all of the pieces for our wedding from the save the dates to the place cards (including rehearsal dinner and bridal luncheon invitations and totes and shirts for the wedding party) and everything exceeded our expectations!! If you're looking for something totally unique and over the top, check Laura's work out! We are getting married aboard a barge along the Burgundy canal in France and Laura created a map of our romantic travels perfectly, plus it had a flair that captured the happy time it will be. She carried this same French wedding theme into the Bon Voyage party menus. Very creative! She's seen alot of great ideas from other weddings she's done which helps when talking thru ideas. Completely trusted her work and it was easy working with her via email. A perfectionist! Thank You, Laura.

We had compasses made as both place cards and favors (for "finding their way to be with us") at our Turks and Caicos destination wedding for 60 guests. Laura was incredibly great to work with, and the end product was awesome!! I wish i would have worked with her more for other things we did for the wedding!

The invitations were beautiful. We actually had comments from guests about it. We couldn't be happier.

Laura's calligraphy was absolutely beautiful. She wrote out all of our invitation addresses. We had a couple special requests as well as a rush order and she accommodated us. Her work was very impressive and she was very professional. We had many invitees comment on the beautiful envelopes. We just thought her touch made our invitations look pretty classy. We wish we had a picture of one of the envelopes. If you go to her website, you will see how thorough she is and how many different kinds of calligraphy she can do. We used the "Copperplate" font in Tier 1. We don't know when we would ever need a calligrapher again, but we wouldn't use anyone else.

Laura Hooper is amazing! Not only is she super talented, she is also quality and customer service oriented. We were thrilled with the map that she hand calligraphed for us for our Save the Dates. SWOON!! I loved, loved, loved working with Laura! We asked Laura to create one of her fabulous maps for our Save the Dates. They came out sooo adorable and exceeded our expectations! She responded to me almost instantly each time I emailed her. The whole process was very fast and I received my STD's in only 2 weeks. Our guests loved them and many of the compliments we recieved were from guys! (Who says they don't appreciate the details?!) I loved my Save the Dates so much, that I contacted Laura to make my invitations as well! I met with her at her studio and we worked together to create my dream invites!! She has the most beautiful calligraphy and I just couldn't get enough of her. So, I also asked her to make a large dinner menu for our reception in her stunning calligraphy and some other little lable goodies for our OOT bags. Every single item I ordered with her came out better than I could have hoped! Laura created a hand drawn custom map for my wedding invitations. She happily put up with my attention to detail and created an amazing and perfect map!! She was ALWAYS extremely prompt in returning any emails I sent to her. I was SO happy that I also purchased the tote bags with my map on it for our out-of-town guests. She ALSO created a custom menu card that, of course, matched the maps, tote bags AND table numbers. I was blown away by the quality of her work and her promptness, not to mention how professional she is! She was happy to work within my budget too! Our invitation was beautifully designed and printed, but missing a human touch. So we've decided to go to Laura Hooper's Calligraphy to ask her to write recipients addresses. We had more than 200 guests, and we asked her last minutes, but her calligraphy came out really beautiful and at the same time so fast! Our invitation became a lot more warm and inviting. We asked her for Place cards as well. They looked exceptionally good on the table, and our guests took their cards as a souvenir!

Laura Hooper is an INCREDIBLE calligrapher. She was super easy to correspond with, very accurate in addressing, and the invitations and place cards for our wedding were STUNNING. I think her lettering style ROSEN is one of the most beautiful scripts I've seen. It's a classic style that is formal, modern and neat without being heavy handed or frilly. She mixes lovely original colors in whatever hue you're looking for. I highly recommend her services for your calligraphy needs.

Laura was incredibly easy to work with- very responsive via email and very professional with prompt, beautiful proofs of the artwork....all done via email which was made it very easy to plan from far away (she is in CA and I am in OK)! She and her company provided menus, programs and place cards for my wedding. She even sent samples of paper and ribbon through the mail so I knew EXACTLY what I would be getting and how the color would turn out. She was very willing to work with my budget and went out of her way to make everything easy on me. This was such a breath of fresh air after deciding NOT to work with a very popular online wedding invitation/paper company secondary to their very haughty and poor customer service....to all brides out there, you do NOT have to put up with that....go find a vendor like Laura Hooper who caters to her customers and genuinely wants them to be thrilled with the final product....which I DEFINITELY was!!!

Laura's work is beautiful. The consistency of the letters and spacing our envelopes were perfect. I love all of the information she provides on her website. I recommend planning extra time for her to finish the envelopes and giving yourself time to review them and have her redo any typos either resulting on her part or on your part.

Laura Hooper did the sand dollar place cards for my wedding. She was amazing to work with and the finished product was beautiful - my wedding guests are using them as Christmas tree ornaments - something I hadn't thought of! We had a destination wedding and the sand dollars that were shipped directly to the hotel got stuck in customs. Laura offered to re-create my set of sand dollars (in ONE day!!) and ship them to my parents so they could carry them on the plane - so amazing!!! She didn't even charge me for the second set. Laura Hooper designed our entire wedding suite of stationary -- the invitations (including reception card, RSVP card, and directions), as well as our menus and programs. I have never met Laura -- we worked exclusively via phone and email -- but everything worked out perfectly. I got many compliments on our invitations ("the prettiest I've ever seen"), and the custom map was a wonderful element that I'll cherish for years to come. Laura also did the hand calligraphy for the invtiations and the menus (we used menus as place settings) -- it was beautiful.
