La Soie was the third place I looked at dresses. The first place was a nightmare and the second place was just to far. When I walked into La Soie they were friendly and very attentive. They made you feel that they were there for you. They were not pushy and so wonderful! After trying on dresses, I had an idea of what dress I wanted. Due to some personal reasons we had to push out our wedding date.
My mom and I went back about 6 months later. They still had my dress but I wanted to make sure it was the one. I tried on my dress and I knew it was it!
The staff was amazing. They were friendly and even cracked jokes which everyone needs since weddings are so crazy. If you are looking for a dress I would definitely go here if you want the...

I went in knowing exactly which dress i was going to buy, but asked her to put me in a few more to finalize my decision. I had already tried on the dress i had intended to buy at a notable high-end salon in orange county which I will not name here, but the service was SO TERRIBLE over there that I was really turned off from buying the dress from them. So I found La Soie, conveniently near my work! Francesca was my consultant and she was great :) She was very helpful helping me select dresses and putting me in them. Even better, the price of the dress at La Soie was more than HALF the price of the SAME dress at the other salon. No, it was not on sale... it was full regular price. I AM SO HAPPY I purchased my dress at La Soie. They are professional and wonderful.
I purchased my Allure gown in March and It arrived in July. I also had my alterations done through them, and the results were superb. Would definitely recommend this salon to any bride!!

At La Soie i worked with a woman named Angela. She was extreamly helpful and had a very good knowledge of her stock. When i described things i liked in a dress she was very quickly able to pull a great number of dresses in my price range in that style. The facility was beautiful and at no point did i feel pressured or obligated to make a purchase, which put me very much ease.

The ladies at La Soie were awesome! They were never pushy or negative, like many of the bridal consultants that I came accross in downtown LA. They were very helpful and accommodating. They even allowed me to bring in a bunch of bridesmaids and have a champagne toast at my final fitting! The only draw back is that their alterations lady is only there on Thursday afternoons, so I always had to leave work for a bit for alterations. Other than that though, they're awesome. They definitely enhanced the wedding planning experience.

La Soie Bridal was the first and only bridal shop I went to and found my dress on the first visit. My consultant was Melanie and she was very sweet and helpful. I knew I was in search of a Maggie Sottero and had a certain dress in mind which Melanie found for me but she also suggested a few other dresses for me to try on, one of which was not at all the style I was looking for. Well the dress that she insisted I try on happened to be THE dress and I fell in love with it and not only that it was a lot cheaper than the original dress I thought I wanted. I thought it was great that Melanie did not try to sell me the much more expensive dress but instead was honest with what looked best on me. I don't regret my decision at all and thanks to her I looked like a princess on my wedding day. My overall experience with La Soie was awesome!

I went to La Soie in Torrance a few months before we had our venue booked, so I was just "browsing" at this time. I showed Melanie (my original sales gal) pictures of dresses I thought I wanted to try on. She was able to pull almost all of them and actually pulled another dress she thought I'd like. When I first saw it, I thought, "it's okay, but I'll try it on." It was the first of six I tried on. I didn't absolutely love it until I tried on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th dress. I kept going back to this first dress which I just fell in love with. Silly me I walked out of there without buying the dress, a) because it was the first dress...I thought there'd be more dresses out there even more spectacular and b) I wanted to shop around for a better price. Needless to say, neither worked out. I went back to La Soie a few months later and bought my dress and veil there.
Francesca was the gal I worked with mostly after I bought the dress and she was so sweet. I have to say, the entire sales staff was never pushy to get me to buy the dress and they were always very professional and really made you feel like a bride when you were there. Even the gal who did my alterations was amazing (I don't remember her name). She was defintiely a pro with her work and knew exactly what she was doing. Brides, if you end up going with La Soie, rest assured you will get excellent service from everyone there.

I purchased my wedding dress from La Soie in Pasadena. Overall I had a really great experience. Most of the girls we dealt with were really sweet and made us feel relaxed and made the experience super awesome. There was one woman who's personality was a little bit harder to deal with, so if it wasn't for her the experience would have been perfect :)

I had a wonderful experience at La Soie Bridal. I came on a weekday and had their full attention. It was so easy to find my dress. With a few general guidelines, they pulled lovely gowns in my budget and I actually bought the first one I tried on. It was a stress free experience. The only small issue was when it came time for alterations. I planned to have my alterations done with them so that I wouldn't have to bring my dress home until just before the wedding. However, when it came in a few months before the wedding, they would not hold it for me until it was time for the alterations. I would have to bring it back. As I understand it, that's a little strange if you are using them for alterations. So...I had to take it home and thus decided to use someone else to alter my dress. Even with that...I'm so glad I went to La Soie. My dress was a La Soie label dress so it was very unique and I got many compliments on it.

I went to La Soie Bridal because of all the great reviews I read about them. I found my dream dress the first day I went in for my appointment! From there, for every fitting and alterations appoitment, the staff at La Soie treated me like a princess all while working in a personal and professional level. Thank you ladies! You helped me to find the dress of my dreams at an amazing price!

I went to try on my first dress at Davids Bridal and had a horrible experience. My friend took me to La Soie and from the minute I walked through the doors I felt like the girls there were devoted to helping me find the perfect dress. After trying a few dresses on and letting them know what I liked and didn't like they brought in a few more dresses and I found the perfect dress. It arrived ahead of schedule and the alterations were reasonably priced. I looked like a princess on my wedding day thanks to the ladies at La Soie! This place is a calm, stress free place to pick out the perfect dress for your perfect day.

La Soie was an unexpected gem! After a long day of rude encounters with bridal consultants in West LA salons, this salon was a breath of friendly fresh air. Angela was super accommodating, SO nice, honest and down-to-earth. She made me feel completely comfortable, and La Soie had a bigger and better selection of moderately priced gowns than any other store I visited. After I had a crazy episode of dress doubt, Angela was understanding and helped me find a great solution. Once my dress came in, I didn't have any family or friends who could come with me to the fittings, and the consultants did a fabulous job of swooning over my dress in their absence. :)
Alterations were reasonably priced & well done, but only available on Thursdays during the day, so fittings weren't the most convenient for my work schedule. And the store won't hold a newly arrived dress more than a month without charging. A teensy bit inflexible, but not a big deal.
I would recommend La Soie to any bride looking for a gorgeous dress on a moderate budget. Every single person I dealt with in this store was an absolute delight. And the dress I purchased was even more beautiful than I could have imagined!

So happy I found La Soie, shopping for a gown has never been easier. So many great things to say about this store, first, it's less than a mile from where I live. Second, the store does not overwhelm you since they have just the right amount of dresses. Third, they do not pressure you into buying. This was the first bridal store I've ever been to and was the last! I went there with my bestfriend and loved two dresses that Krystal brought in. I wanted a combination of both so I went home and did some research. I emailed Krystal the gown that I wanted and they ordered it for me. Everybody loved my dress, they all thought I had it made to order.

Originally I went here to compare prices of certain designer. I decided to try on some more dresses from different designers.
Francesca was helping me, and she was VERY nice, but not fake at all. I told her that I was open to trying on different dresses, with the exception of no taffeta. She pulled a lot of very nice dresses. When she pulled the Enzoani gown I was a little hesitant since it did not look that good on the hanger. EVERYTHING changed once I put the dress on- I knew I had found THE dress. It was perfect for me ,and I didn't not want to modify anything. I kept trying on a few more dresses just to "be sure" and I kept looking over at the Enzoani.
Great thing I got 10% off from a trunk show! My BM's would have got a discount on their dresses here too since I purchased my gown from them. However, there weren't a lot of choices that had to choose from.
I decided not to have my alterations done by their seamstress and they didn't "give me an attitude". =)
I had a wonderful experience trying on dresses here, since there was no pressure to buy. I would highly recommend going to La Soie.

I have enjoyed every minute of my time with the La Soie girls. From the first day, I walked into that Salon, to the day of my wedding, they have been more than helpful by sharing their experiences and their honest opinions. They always remembered my name! (and that is so big when you are constantly talking to vendors--you begin to feel like you are only seen as an ATM machine).
The girls always knew what dresses I preferred...they knew every detail and helped me figure out how to piece every detail together--perfectly! I felt like these girls were more than bridal consultants but my closest friends or even my bridesmaids. Since I did have bridesmaids in all parts of the country, these girls also became my therapists as I went through the ups and downs of wedding planning!
My consultants went above and beyond for me. Through La Soie, we were able to order the exact color bow ties for our groomsmen that matched the bridesmaids dresses. I want other brides to know that La Soie is the best on Customer Relations/Customer Care. They never pushed me to buy a dress. They never pushed me to buy accessories. That is something so unique of bridal salons. Also, this salon is in a great place of Torrance. Nice and local. Very close to my home and I know that was a great asset about them. For alteration purposes, they have the best seamstress and she comes to the salon every Thursday! So close and convenient!

I've read mixed reviews on La Soie, but I had a great experience there. I first went to the Pasadena store on a weekday night and literally had the place to myself. I found a dress I loved, then later went to the Torrance store to try on that dress and some others with my mom and sister. I ended up finding THE dress there, which was from their own La Soie label (which is great because I've never seen my dress on anyone else). I felt that the price for my dress was good, definitely within my budget. But I did see dresses there by major labels that were more expensive than I had seen at other shops (ie Pebbles Bridal). My consultant, Veronica, was great. She remembered me from the first visit and had already pulled the dress I loved before I came in. The ordering process was easy and the dress came in way earlier than they predicted. My only complaint is that at one point I called to find out the length of my train so I could try to find a veil. The girl that answered the phone said "oh I'm sure it's cathedral length." She wasn't willing to go actually measure for me, which kind of annoyed me.
I didn't get my alterations done there because they only do them on Thursdays and I'd have to take off of work. I went to Reene at In Stitches in Woodland Hills, and she was great.

I had originally bought my dress at their Tustin location before it moved to Pasadena, so I ended up dealing with the Torrance location and picking it up there.
The dress selection at La Soie is really wonderful, it has more of a boutique feel and the dressing rooms are nice and big.
Soon after I bought my dress the sales girl who I had been working with and LOVED left for another job, so I never really had a single point of contact after that.
I felt like some of the girls working at this location were snobby and difficult at times but at the end of the day I got my dress, it looked wonderful and that's all that mattered.
If you are looking for a store that is really going to pamper you, this is not the place, but I would still recommend it as the dresses are lovely, its really clean and has a more high end feel than most other bridal salons.

The staff at La Soie is super friendly and helpful. My wedding gown and veil were simply gorgeous. The quality of my gown seemed like I had spent thousands of dollars but in reality I purchased it for less than a thousand dollars. I had compared similar priced gowns at David's Bridal but the quality was no where as nice as the gowns at La Soie. The best thing about La Soie is that they have gowns for every price range.

The bridal salon had a wide range of dresses at different price points. The associate who helped me find the dress was really sweet and very helpful (but can't remember her name =P). Most of the other associates i dealt with there were also friendly and enthusiastic. Before each of my appointments I received a reminder phone call.
The salon was clean and the dress was perfect! They have a seamstress who comes in to tailor the dresses. She did a good job (especially with a challenging bustle) but was a bit pricey. I ended up spending over $350 to have the dress hemmed, taken in, and bustled. But her quality of work was great and the dress was BEAUTIFUL. Unfortunately, she only comes in on thursdays during working hours, so i had to take time off work for my fittings.
They steamed my dress 2 days before the wedding and everything turned out great. The only other thing was that one of the girls helped me get out of my dress after it was pinned during a fitting, and she scratched me with the pins (on accident) and i was bleeding. But luckily, i didn't bleed on the dress! They also have veils (pricey), shoes, and accessories as well as a selection of bridesmaid gowns.
