Grace Lin Professional Make up Team

We only used Grace's team stylist for mother and mother-in-law's makeup and hair. Unfortunately, the mother did not quite like the hair style, it was messy and other people did not like it as well. However, Grace herself is awesome. My friends worked with her before and they all love it. Just need to be careful on choosing her team stylist.

Grace sent Tobey to us... Tobey was great and easy to work with. She's gentle with my wife's face and excellent at what she does. She was able to provide the ideal makeup for my bride. THIS IS REALLY REALLY HARD TO COME BY... my wife's super picky... even none of the bridal make up stores in hong kong met her criteria. Grace made my Wife and her Bridesmaids HOT!!!! She was there the entire ceremony and wedding reception. She made us look awsome for the entire day and night.. I booked with Grace after searching many places. Our correspondence was mostly through email but she responds by phone also. She was very personable and puts you at ease. Her team of artists are very talented, you have to see their work. We ended up taking additional makeup classes with Grace also. She was very accommodating to my schedule. She is young and very ambitious, I get email responses from her late at night sometimes. I know you'd be happy if you book with Grace.

Grace is the BEST EVER makeup and hair artist!! She had made my entire wedding party super elegant and gorgeous on my wedding day! Grace and her entire team are super nice and professional, they had to drive all the way down from Los Angeles to San Diego and they even arrived 15 minutes before our appointment time ( my appointment time was 6 a.m.) and that's just how amazing they are!! Will definitely recommend all my friends in the future! :)

Grace & team is just a group of wonderful people. She was very responsive and gave great suggestions for my makeup & hair. Tobey & Crystal were the ones who did the makeup. Tobey did my mom's & my makeup & hair, while Crystal did my maid of honor's makeup & hair.Although I decided to do something different with my eyes on the wedding day (different than what was done at the trial), Tobey was able to pull it off. I got a lot of compliments for my makeup & hair. She turned me into a beautiful bride :)Crystal was also great. My maid of honor loved her makeup & hair.I definitely will keep Grace & team in mind for any future events, and will recommend them to others.

I heard of Grace from many friends who used her for their wedding. She did an amazing job on my friend's make up and I was determined to hire her for my own wedding. She did such an amazing job on my make up and I got lots of compliments. If you see the before and after pictures it will blow your mind away with what she can do. My bridesmaids also got their make up done by her team and looked beautiful on my wedding day. I'am very pleased with her work and would definitely recommend her to anyone.

Grace Lin and her team can do magic! Most people here already said what I wanted to say. They are just AWESOME!!!! I loved my makeup and hairstyle. My bridesmaids love their makeup and hairstyle. My mother and mother in law loved their makeup and hairstyle. You give yourself to them and let them know what you like to do with your hair and makeup and then the magic begins from there. I let Grace Lin be in charge of changing/deciding what to do with my makeup and hairstyle on my wedding day, because she is the makeup/hairstylist and I am not. She knew what the best was for me. My wedding day was so beautiful. I cried, I jump, I danced and the makeup and hairstyle she put on me did not fall apart at all. Thank you Grace.

Grace is an absolute magician—I am generally not a very photographic person, but her skill with make-up and hair ensured that, on my wedding day, virtually no picture came out poorly, no matter what expression or face I made! And, most importantly, her make-up stayed put for 12 hours, no running, no touch up needed—despite the fact that I had an outdoor wedding in the middle of the afternoon on a hot August Sunday!I actually hired Grace without doing any sort of trial run with her. My friend had researched and tried out several make-up artists, including Grace. I didn’t know it at the time, but she took her engagement photos with Grace’s make up, and I was completely blown away by how gorgeous she looked. On her wedding day, she looked absolutely amazing as well, so I asked her who she had used and she gave me Grace’s info. I contacted Grace and immediately appreciated her quick response, her sweetness & easy going manner, and her professionalism, and gave her a deposit without even meeting her. She gave me an awesome price on 5 bridesmaids, 2 flower girls, and 2 moms, and she worked with me on a schedule that would get us all done by 9am—no easy feat for such a large number of people.When I finally met Grace for a trial session, she blew me away with her training, experience, and knowledge (who knew you could get someone who had trained with Aveda, did the make-up and hair of models in NYC, and spent several yearsw specializing in the wedding industry in Taiwan for such a great price?!) She sat me down, looked at my face, ran her fingers down the side of my face to determine what kind of products might be needed, put her apron on and set to work. By the time she was done, I had been transformed from a tired, stressed out looking bride-to-be to something quite presentable. I wore that make up out with my fiancé and his family that night and got compliments on the hair and make-up all night long. On my wedding day, Grace did an even better job. She and her team arrived at 5am and, despite a power outage that halted everything for almost an hour, they had us ready by 8:30am.I had so much fun that day since I knew I didn’t have to worry about how I looked. The non-professional pictures turned out stunning—I can’t wait to see the professional pictures. Hiring Grace and her team was, hands down, one of the best vendor decisions that I made for my wedding. I would use her again for any upcoming special occasions without any hesitation and am certain that my sisters will look to Grace when their weddings come up!

I hired Grace to do my hair and makeup for my engagement photos and wedding. She was really great. I especially loved how she did my hair. One of my bridesmaids hired her to do her makeup also and she really liked how she turned out in the wedding pictures. She is really pricey but if it's within your budget you should go for it.

Grace did a great job on the trial hair and makeup and then wowed me on the wedding day. I was sooooo happy with the results of the hair and makeup. so classy and pretty yet fun and romantic. All my bridesmaids looked good as they were handled by Grace's team. Very professional group. they arrived at 5:45 a.m. sharp and with great happy attitudes. I have recommended a couple of people already to try Grace. She's so sweet and loves what she does! I am so glad to have found my makeup artist.

Grace did a good job ...and is very flexible to feedback. After my trial session, I had a couple of things I wanted to change around and Grace was very open to making sure I was happy. I have worked with Grace for my wedding last month. She did an AMAZING job!!! Everyone commented on how beautiful I looked on my wedding day. I am very very happy and satisfied with Grace's work, and considered my money very well spent. I ended up having 3 hairstyles on my wedding day, all of which are very unique. Grace has been very accommodating to my preference, which I am thankful for. I would highly recommend Grace being the wedding make up artist. Grace Lin is so talented in what she does. I was so pleased with my makeup and hair for our wedding and with the bridesmaids hair and makeup. She was very responsive to what style I wanted and catered to my individual preference down to the details such as what kind of lashes to use or how to bring out the eyes. The makeup stayed on all day without needing any touch up except for lip color which she provided. Grace and her team are very professional and punctual and made our wedding day begin very smoothly.
