I used Todd for my wedding and we LOVED him! Todd was referred to me by my wedding coordinator and she promised me that Todd would keep my dance floor packed, because I was initially concerned about my guests being shy and wouldn't want to dance. But Todd really worked his magic to get people dancing!Many of my guests came to tell me how much they loved the music and we had a great party! Several of them said Todd was the best DJ they have met! Before the wedding, I gave Todd some of my favorite songs and he really listened to me, and didn't miss anything! He also gave great suggestions of music when I was unsure of the songs. He was very flexible and always responsive and professional. I highly recommend Todd! He is sure to make your party fun and lively!

My first experience with Feet First was as a guest at my best friend's wedding a few years ago, so when it was my turn this past September, I knew I HAD to hire them and request Dave to be the master of ceremonies! Feet First has a great website - easy to follow and user-friendly. I had zero issues with the selection of music, as I had a list of music styles/genres that I preferred - Dave showed up for vendor meetings, took the time to speak to me and my fiance, and was extremely flexible and trustworthy. In addition, he kept everyone on schedule (caterers, speeches, cake cutting, dinner, bouquet toss, announcements, etc.) and was at all times, friendly and easy-going. Set up/take down was super fast and organized - I didn't worry at all.The music level was just perfect - not too loud during dinner and then nice and appropriate duing dancing. He has an uncanny way of "reading the crowd" to know exactly what they would like and what they wouldn't. One of the better decisions I had made for my wedding celebration was hiring Feet First immediately after my engagement as I knew he'd be booked up - no regrets at all - I would recommend to my friends and I would hire them again for other occasions. 5 stars outta 5!

We chose Feet First Entertainment because they knew how to be fun and professional at the same time. From the moment I emailed them to inquire about date availability to going through our wedding day schedule, they were prompt with responses and really cared about making us happy and comfortable with everything. They were also very reasonably priced and cared about helping us meet our budget. Anthony, our DJ, was timely on our wedding day and really hit the ball out of the park. The music flowed and I dont think there was a point where anyone stopped dancing. I highly recommend them - you really can't go wrong! Thank you again Feet First!

Chose Dave Cloutier from Feet First Entertainment after reading several positive reviews. Dave was FANTASTIC, AMAZING and SUPERB!From the moment I emailed Dave I could tell he really wanted to get to know us and make our wedding our own. He cared about how we met and the way our realtionship grew into what it was, so he could better understand what our personalities were.The wedding day itself could not have gone off smoother. Dave was set up, ready and working in tune with the caterer and the venue without a hitch.I was getting compliments about the DJ all night long and it was difficult at times to find an empty space on the dance floor.From start to finish Dave was fluid. Time changes and speech delays didnt seem to phase the flow of the evening at all. Dave was always ready to work with whatever had to happen and was able to coordinate with the caterer to make it all work out.I am trying to think of other events I can throw just so I can have Dave be the DJ again.Thank you Dave Cloutier for giving my wife and I the best day of our lives!

They were awesome. The music was great and they were helpful all the way around. Our DJ was Courtney and he was super.

We couldn't have asked for a better wedding DJ than Mike. Several weeks prior to the event, he proactively reached out to us to get a better feel for our music preferences. To help us brainstorm titles for our "must play list" he provided several sample playlists. Thanks mostly to Mike (partially to the thought we put into the playlist) the dance floor was off the hook all night. I would highly recommend hiring Mike to DJ your event.

My husband and I are big music lovers and we wanted our wedding reception to be a party, so picking a DJ was a daunting task for us, it didn't help that my husband DJ'd through college and still does as a favor for close friends. We first met with Cory a few months before the wedding and after the meeting we looked at each other and agreed we had found our DJ he was very attentive to our vision of what we wanted the wedding to be like he asked a lot of questions and had great suggestions for us....my husband gave Cory some suggestions and he ran with it.We had a very diverse group at our wedding and he somehow catered to everybody, the dance floor was ALWAYS packed....ours friends are sill talking about the music and how much fun they had dancing, as you all know, music will make or break a party, Cory definitely brought his A game and made the party a blast. Thank you Cory and Feet first who was very accommodating to our questions and needs prior to the wedding, You guys Rock!!

I was nervous to hire a DJ long distance, since I live in Texas, but I called Feet First and they listened to what I wanted and didn't want in a DJ and then paired me up with Corey. We spoke on the phone several times and coordinated through email, but I never even met him until the reception and he did a great job! Everyone commented on how much they liked his choices, and one of my friends even got his information for her upcoming wedding. He was very flexible with the timeline when we were running behind, and even brought a separate ipod and speakers for the upstairs area during cocktail hour.

Mike from Feet First Entertainment was an astounding wedding DJ. From the very beginning he was responsive to our communications and set-up a time to meet with us months before the wedding. He is an especially kind person and has a disposition that allows him to be at ease in any setting. He was a great listener and was open to our requests; we really felt like he understood the vibe we were going for on the dance floor. Like any great DJ he can sense the energy of the crowd and play off of it in such a way that creates a dancing experience you won't forget.

We cannot rave ENOUGH about Dave and Feet First! Our wedding was on 4/29/11, and it was such an incredible event, my family and friends are still talking about it, calling, emailing, facebooking about how much fun they had! Dave helped us create the event that we wanted, a fun event which was a good balance of our quirky personalities and what the crowd wanted (to maximize everyone's enjoyment!). His direction to us was appreciated as neither of us had been through this before (he even helped talk us through cutting the cake! Lol). He directed us through the planning, and during the event led everything so that we didn't have to think of anything! The best part - he totally took the stress off of me for the flow of the reception! We didn't have to think about a schedule. Dave did all of that - our job was to have a great time with our family and friends! To get my family and friends on the dance floor the whole night would normally be a challenge, but not with Dave. Everyone was out from the first song to the last. 5 stars does not do justice - way more is deserved. Dave - you made our wedding what it was an incredible memory of fun and love! :-) Thank you for adding your touch to our special day!

Courtney Geigle of Feet First was amazing. He was a great dj/emcee, he worked well with the live band we had, and helped everything flow smoothly. He was very accommodating and accessible via email/text/phone, and was great with details. He even pronounced our multi-racial wedding parties names perfectly! My cousin recommended Feet First after they provided the dj/emcee for his wedding several years ago, I'll continue to recommend Courtney and Feet First!

After a seemingly endless search through the myriad local DJ options -- both companies and individuals -- we finally settled on Feet First Entertainment. Feet First allows clients to select their specific DJ (they have roughly a dozen to choose from), and ultimately we went with Dave Cloutier, who is one of the co-founders of Feet First and has been DJing for roughly 20 years.Since we had live musicians for the ceremony and cocktail hour, we asked Dave to handle music during dinner and for dancing afterward, as well as be the MC for the dinner/post-dinner toasts (three sets of parents and our two best people!). Dave worked with us in the weeks before our wedding to get a feel for the different types of music we wanted for dinner (bop era jazz) and dancing (80s rock, hip-hop, some modern pop). In doing so, he went out of his way to make sure he had some of our off-the-beaten-path songs, came up with several good suggestions of his own, and was always extremely responsive via phone and e-mail.During our dinner and reception, Dave was the consummate professional, working seamlessly with our day-of coordinator, Brittany Piehl (of Va De Vie Events). The toasts during dinner were great, and he even made sure we had a little time to publicly thank everyone for coming. After dinner, when the time came to break out the dancing shoes, we let Dave run with things and make his own judgments as to what would work best for our guests. Dave played a nice mix of our requests, his own picks, and a few audience requests too. Everyone had an awesome time dancing (the photos show it!) and several people came up to us to tell us how great Dave was. What we liked the most about Dave was that he wasn't the sort of DJ who made himself the center of attention -- he was almost minimalist in his approach -- but it was obvious that he was confidently in control of the party and guided it meticulously throughout the evening.All in all, Dave was a pleasure to work with, and we sincerely feel that Feet First offers a price-to-quality ratio (and frankly overall quality) that is likely unrivaled in the Bay Area.(Side note: Feet First also offers excellent day-of wedding coordinator services managed by their event coordinator, Amy. We ended up choosing Va de Vie Events due to a referral from a friend of a friend, but otherwise would have had no hesitation in working with Feet First.)

We chose Dave to be the DJ at our wedding in July. We felt soooo lucky because he was incredible from the moment we met him. He was the best dj and mc I have ever seen. Any bride and groom should not hesitate to choose Dave. He made the wedding perfect from start to finish. No one wanted to leave the dance floor! He was fun and easy to work with and really knows his music. He was able to read the room and make sure the music kept the party fun the entire night. He is very helpful and makes the planning before the wedding fun and stress-free and he is even better the day of. Having the right DJ can make or break your wedding, if you choose Dave from Feet First Eventertainment, I guarantee your wedding will be a HUGE success!!!!

Awesome awesome awesome! We loved Cody! He quickly responded to every email and made us feel at ease that everything would be taken care of on the day of - and it all was! He set the pace of the wedding and the timeline went along great. We received a lot of compliments from our guests about how wonderful our DJ was! We highly recommend!

Dave was such a joy to work with!!! He is extremely knowledgeable and has years of experience doing weddings and events. He was very professional and easy to talk to during each of our meetings with him and phone conversations. He's extremely responsive and helpful. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable with the music choices and went out of his way to make a personal visit to my venue to make sure the projector would be functioning correctly. We loved his laid back personality and he is definitely not one of those "cheesy" wedding DJs. I've been to one too many weddings where a bad DJ During the event, he was active and involved enough to keep everyone informed and keep the program moving, but never annoying or overly talkative. I was impressed that he got everyone's name in my bridal party right (22 people plus parents, that's a lot!). I also loved that he kept us in the loop the whole night, checking in periodically to make sure we were ok with what he was playing, especially if guests were requesting something different from what we had discussed. He also worked very well with my coordinator to make sure everything ran smoothly. All of our guests loved him and had a great time. He did an amazing job and we can't say enough good things about him!

Todd Buteaux with Feet First Eventertainment is absolutely AMAZING!!! If you are unsure who to hire for your wedding, Todd is a fantastic choice. Four of our friends had him DJ their wedding and all were a complete success. This made it an easy decision when it came time to decide who we wanted for our wedding. He's experienced, extremely talented, personable, very professional and passionate about his job. Once the "open dancing" started, the dance floor was NEVER empty. He definitely brought the party. He paid close attention to our guests and kept the energy high all night. There was one point in the night when our guests insisted on doing the hora (the jewish chair dance) and Todd seemlessly phased right into it and led our guests through the entire dance. It was so much fun. He definitely went above and beyond our expectations. All of our guests loved him and had a great time. We are still getting compliments on the music. Thank you Todd and Feet First Eventertainment for making our special day so memorable.

Scott did an incredible job during the whole process. Not only did he communicate with us extensively to make sure we were all of the same page, he also gave expert recomendations when we wanted some guidance. During the wedding he was incredibly supportive and made sure we were comfortable and happy every step of the way.

Anthony from Feet First was an exceptional DJ at our wedding last May. He far exceeded our expectations and everyone commented on how wonderful he was in getting the crowd up and dancing. He was amazing. We couldn't have asked for better entertainment that night. Thank you!!!!!!!!

Feet First is awesome...Cody Harnish was an amazing MC that went beyond his MC duties....he even offered to pass out parking validations during our wedding. He's not cheesy and will work with you music tastes.....
