City Connections put together an amazing band for our wedding. People couldn't stop talking about the band and how it made the entire night that much more fun. The band was really professional and musically tight, and they did an AWESOME job putting together my serenade piece for my now-wife. Thanks again for a job well done and I will be sure to recommend City Connection to my other soon-to-be newlywed friends.

I happened to come across City Connection by accident after researching for months. I either didn't like the recommened vendors by this five star hotel or it was way over our budget. Sal was so responsive, within 30 mins of my inquiry I had an email and a call back which was very important as we only had 6 weeks left ! We met at their home office and got to see all the different kinds of bands that matched our styles. We are so glad we went wih Sals final suggestion , he really knows his stuff and once you tell him what you want he gets it! He also worked wih us on our budget . Breena was so helpful and on top it keeping us on schedule since it gets so hectic in those last couple weeks. Communication is key to Planning a great event and city connection is great wih communication . We got so many compliments on our bands I can't even tell you. Everything was perfect with the ceremony music as well, they came when they said they would and worked with our vocalist. I highly recommend city conncection and trust them Which is he hardest part of booking vendors .

The band was awesome! Everyone was on the dance floor the whole night. My husband was so happy with the way they performed 'Shout', it was exactly how he wanted it, true to the original. And what made it even more special was that the band picked up on what the guests were singing during the song and they started singing it. It was so much fun! I unfortunately didn't get to meet the band members and I was bummed about that. I have no idea where the time went, etc and how the night got by me without saying hello, goodbye and thank you to them!!! I thought they were awesome and I really would love to see them perform again, when I am not in a zone/daze/haze/wrapped in the moment/etc!!!!

If you are looking for a band or DJ. City Connection Entertainment is the ONLY place one should look. I must have met and spoken to over 10 diffferent bands in the Los Angeles area. We knew we wanted a band but our budget was limited. However Sal and his team had plenty of options and were willing to work with us and show us the many of the different groups that might work within our budget. We ended up going with a 5 piece band called "Into the Night". As our event got closer Sal and Breena were very thorough and made sure all the details of our actual event were covered and there would be no surprises. We even ended up adding two more band members last minute to make it a 7 piece as we knew it would only add to the sound. To say we were happy with City Connection Enertainment and "Into the Night" is an extreme understatment! They were the BEST vendor we had and they truly made our wedding the one to remember!!! This quote from a friend on facebook sums up our night. "Such an amazing wedding!!! I haven't danced like that in ages...... Congratulations to you both!" I highly recommend City Connection Entertainment for any event! Olga

Absolutely incredible! Of all the vendors I used, City Connection Entertainment was by FAR the best! They were incredibly prompt, went out of their way to make sure all the details of the wedding were correct, even visited the venue beforehand just to make sure all appropriate equipment would be provided! When my father decided to bring in a professional singer for one or two numbers during the reception, City Connection performers were willing to hold rehearsals prior to the wedding. I never had to worry about getting in touch with Sal, Breena, or anyone else whenever I needed something. And, most importantly, the band was INCREDIBLE! Guests danced right through dinner, and stayed until the very last note was played. I'm still getting comments on how amazing our band was!! If you want a guaranteed amazing experience, go with City Connection!

For our cocktail hour we had 3 musicians (bass, flute, guitar). Unfortunately, my husband and I didn't get to hear them at all because we were off taking photos, but everyone said the music was awesome. I know my dad was very pleased with the musicians, and that makes me happy. Val Martinez was our DJ. He was stellar. Great music selection. He definitely helped keep the flow of our reception upbeat and fun. The dance floor was packed till the very end! Val is a great entertainer. He actually sang three songs (of our choosing) during the dinner/reception. At first I thought that'd be weird (a singing DJ, really?) but it was actually quite enjoyable to have a little live entertainment. Plus, he sang "The Way You Look Tonight" to my 2 year old niece who was struttin her stuff solo on the dance floor- and you can imagine how cute that was! But I digress...... We wanted to take dance lessons for our first dance, and as it turns out, Val does that too! We met with him about 3 or 4 times. He turned our decent first dance into a really cool, memorable first dance. He is easy to work with, very professional, and definitely the most responsive of all our vendors.

In the weeks leading up to our wedding, many of our vendors were not getting back to us as quickly as we would've liked but CCE was always right on top of everything. They responded to our calls and emails in a very timely manner (and there were a lot of them), and when we had specific requests outside of the original plans for our wedding, they did everything possible to accommodate. At the wedding, the band really brought it. Everything was perfect - energetic and exciting, they had everyone up and dancing.

We already had our DJ, but were looking for some entertainment while we disappeared taking pictures. City Connection had the perfect option. We booked Triple Threat. They are a 3-person doo-wop, hip-hop, gospel, a capella group. Our guests are still talking about them months later! They mingled with the crowd, got people involved, and they sound amazing! I (the groom) even jumped in with them and sang "The Lion Sleeps Tonight." Before they left they sang "My Girl" for the father/daughter dance. It was really nice to have live voices singing for such a special dance instead of our DJ just playing a CD. Triple Threat really treated us nicely and gave our special day another reason to be remembered.

City Connection provided us with a live band an DJ. They were completely able to tailor to my very distinctive needs as my guest list was diverse both in age and musical taste. There was enough variety but not too much so it all still went well together. A lot of energy and coordination went into the band, my only regret was not spending a little more time with the DJ to coordinate his portion.

I don’t think my husband and I ever properly thanked you for the work you guys did for our wedding! We had met with a few agencies before we heard about you, and we simply weren’t happy with the cheesy wedding bands we kept seeing. We didn’t really know what we wanted, but we knew the kind of music we wanted to hear, and we certainly knew what I wasn’t working! When our wedding planner, Stacey Stewart, introduced us to Sal it was instantly clear that he had what we wanted! He made recommendations on the type of instrumentation we should have, then played songs for us from each of the players he was going to put together for our special band. The two singers he picked out were perfect, and we knew we had finally found what we were looking for! We were also very pleased with the selection of songs that the band knew, and their willingness to learn a few special songs for us. I was also pleasantly surprised to see Sal at the event, as it gave me peace of mind to know that he was there overseeing everything! We got so many compliments about our band, and what a fun party it was! We originally thought we wanted a DJ so we could hear exactly the songs we wanted, performed the way we are used to, but I am so glad we went with the live band! It certainly made the night more fun, more memorable, and all-around perfect! Thanks so much for your hard work for our event. We’ll definitely keep you in mind for future events!
