I began the search for my wedding dress here after looking through their online catalog and finding a dress I absolutely loved. After reading multiple negative reviews on Yelp, I was hesitant to come in but convinced myself that my visit would be different because I really loved that dress I saw online. My experience was a nightmare (see below). So I came in the store on a Saturday without an appointment and they immediately took me in. Aimee, the wedding consultant was very knowledgeable and nice. She understood what I wanted and advised me to try on a few dresses similar to the one I saw in the catalog before I tried on the one I had an eye on. After trying on several similar dresses and deciding that none of them was the one, I finally put on the dress I saw in the catalog. It was absolutely gorgeous and the one! I just knew it. I decided I wouldn't order the dress just yet as it was my first time trying on dresses and decided to come back the week after. After trying on some other rental dresses in K-town (Wedding Time and Bella Bridal are both very good), I decided none compared to the one I found at Alfred Angelo. I went back the following week and placed the order. This is when my nightmare began. I ordered the dress well in advance of my wedding date (dress ordered in March for a wedding in October). The dress came in August and I scheduled a first fitting in September. This store only contracts with one seamstress, Mary to do ALL of their alterations - for wedding dresses, bridesmaids dresses, and all types of other dresses they sell at the store. So everytime I came here for a fitting - 3 fittings total, I had to wait 30 minutes to 1 hour even though I had a "scheduled" appointment time. I came in for the first fitting and Mary took all the measurements. I came back in early October for the second fitting and could tell immediately that the dress was too long! I told Mary that it was 5 inches too long. She told me that I was wrong and that I had not ordered my dress to be hemmed. I was so furious! I showed her the receipt which clearly stated $180 to hem ( a complete ripoff). She ignores this and then proceeds to tell me I didn't wear the right shoes at the first fitting! I was so upset and asked her to fix it. She relented and said she would fix it but began complaining while redoing my measurements stating that she could never make a "5-inch mistake." I didn't care what she said as long as she fixed the dress. Finally, after a third and fourth fitting and a final alteration bill of $480 ($180 for hem, $200 for bustling the dress, $100 for steam and press), the dress was perfect. While I appreciate the work to fix my dress in time for my wedding, I did not appreciate essentially being called a liar by the seamstress. Her unprofessional attitude really put a sour taste in my mouth for this place despite my initial postive experience. Thus, for all future brides visiting this place - while it's a great place to try out dresses, beware of the alteration nightmare that follows!

The place was very nice and clean. The workers are also very nice people. I plan on buying more dresses for future events. They also have very good prices on dresses and all sizes.

I found my wedding dress at this store on my second visit. The sales person was very helpful and patient. I took my time to find the perfect dress. The dress was in the $600-700 range but I was told that I need the undergarments to go along with it. An additional $100, the problem is that my dress did not require anything such as a petty coat underneath. My gown was meant to be fitted because of its trumpet style skirt. I find it dishonest that I was pushed to spend extra money on garments that I didn't need. It seems too desperate and dishonest. My best advice to brides-to-be who shop at this store is to just take your time and don't feel rushed to buy everything they put on you at the store. I think it was partially my fault for rushing to buy the garments when I should have just paid for the dress. I love my gown and I think it was the perfect one for my wedding. Another thing that bothered me about this store is that I was told that my measurements required me to order a much larger size dress. Months later when the dress arrived, my gown needed about the cost of the dress in alterations to be taken in from the waist and the hips. I never expected the alterations to be that high but I didn't want to trust my dress to an outside seamstress. I met Mary, the shop's seamstress and she took care of the alterations. She did beautiful quality work on my gown and made the dress fit perfectly. I love the Alfred Angelo gowns and the quality of Mary's work. Warning just be prepared to spend as much for the alterations. I don't regret buying my gown or getting the alterations done here. On my wedding day, I knew this gown was the perfect one for me, so romantic, feminine, and elegant.

My wife was very pleased with her wedding gown. It took us a while to find the one she wanted but she loved it. It was well worth the time and price (which actually was not bad).

Alfred Angelo was great! I found my dress on the first try! It was in my budget so i bought it. They let me pay in 2 payments and i also got my bridesmaids dresses there. They have lots of sizes. They only thing was the fact that they lost my number and my dress was sitting there for over a month until I called to check up on it! Over all ok service but great prices!

Alfred Angelo was the first bridal store I went to and the last dress I tried on was THE one! I went there because of their affordable prices and large selection. It just so happened that the weekend I went was their annual dress sale so I got an unexpected & pleasant discount! My dress came out to be about $600!! The girls were very helpful and absolutely adored my dog Tofu. I was worried they would not allow me in their store but they cooed over my little white dog.I also purchased my bridesmaid dresses there and received $25 off EACH BM dress since I bought my wedding gown there. It turned out to be about $105 a dress (way cheaper than I had budgeted!)

My initial dress buying process was awesome. Alterations were expensive, and they didnt explain that the full amount was due at time of fitting, not upon pickup. mary did a great job with them though, just expect to pay the price of your dress in alterations!!

I went to the Alfred Angelo in Beverly Hills and it was a nightmare. The dress came two sizes too large but they would NOT take the dress back. I showed up to pick up my dress and asked to try it on BEFORE I paid for it, but they pressured me into paying for it first, saying they were very busy and it was going to take 20 min for them to pull the dress from the back. When I got my dress, tried it on, it was too big...way too big. The seamstress that ALFRED ANGELO hires told me that the dress looked like it was two sizes larger than the tag...still no help from Alfred Angelo. THE REGIONAL MANAGER WAS IN THE STORE WHEN I COMPLAINED BUT WOULD NOT TALK TO ME. She pretended she was NOT the manager and the staff went in the back "to call her". I called them on LYING TO ME and they admitted that the woman I saw walking around the store was in fact the Regional Manager but that she didn't want to talk to me about it that day and that they would only give me $100 store credit for the mistake! Ugh. Don't go there. The service is SOOO frustrating. The dress did end up working out and was pretty but I had to spend another $1,000 on top of the cost of the dress to alter it to fit me!

Alfred Angelo's higher end line is Piccione Bridal, which all their gowns are made out of silk. My gown was a Piccione gown and it was divine. It was exactly what I wanted--classic, off shoulder, simple, off white, elegant and comfortable! Not to mention, I happened to fall in love with a discontinued gown so I paid half price! Although I'm not fond of the location (old, a bit dirty and they play hip hop music) the manager is very sweet and so is the mistress. Get ready though, alterations cost me almost as much as the gown!

I purchased my FIRST wedding gown here. It was one of two dresses I purchased because I was so unhappy with the AA gown I received. They were relatively helpful in the store, but you could tell they were pushing the sale. They told me that bustling my gown would be an easy task, and I later found out that it was going to take 8 bustles and a miracle to get that thing bustled properly. The dress came & the train was cut incorrectly, so the alterations woman had to fix that as well. I ordered a sash which I was told would take 6-8 weeks to receive, and after 12 weeks we had to basically stop by everyday until they finally located a sash for us. They did not try to do anything to make-good on their errors, and I was so unhappy with everything I ended up purchasing another gown from a different store.

For a big chain store I was impressed. The employees are all friendly and helpful. The price made the final decision for me. They have some really good deals, especially when dresses go on sale. Jewelry and other accessories are a bit expensive. They don't have a great shoe selection. All in all, a good experience.

I loved my dress. It was love at first sight at Alfred Angelo. However, they did lose my phone number for the many weeks that my dress was sitting at their store. They finally found it because I had opened up an alfred angelo card to finance the dress.Their seamstress Mary is awesome, she worked at the Brea store too so I decided to do all my fittings at the Brea location after I finally got my dress from San Gabriel.

Picking out and ordering my dress and the bridesmaids dresses was a breeze. The girl who was helping me is actually the one who picked out my dress. It was a gorgeous vintage inspired dress that I couldn't believe was at Alfred Angelo and not some snotty boutique in Beverly Hills. It wasn't until the dresses actually came in that I started having issues with Alfred Angelo. I should start by saying that I ordered all of the dresses through the Upland store. I ordered my flower girl's dress there in November and was informed that the store would be closing at the end of the year. All of our dresses were supposed to come to the shop(my wedding was in March). We figured out which stores were convienient for my bridesmaids and had the dresses shipped there. One by one, my bridesmaids called me saying that their dress had showed up at their front door. It was just left by UPS on the doorstep. Not only was that not what we requested, but anything could of happened to the dress. Alfred Angelo had no excuse only that there must of been a mistake. It was hard for me to believe that there were mistakes on all of the girls' dresses. Once that was taken care of the rest of my experience at Alfred Angelo was great. Jen the manager was very helpful and professional which is more than I can say about some of the employees there. Mary the seamstress was also an angel and did impecable work.

I love my wedding dress. Actually, it fit one me (except for the height). The service of Alfred Angelo is good. The crews are friendly and helpful when I was choosing my dream dress. It's easy for me and my bridesmaids. My bridesmaids are in different cities; one is in Los Angeles, CA, one is in San Jose, CA, and the other one is in Madison, WI.The best thing is that AA is nation wide. All my bridesmaids got their dresses easy and fast.

I bought my wedding Dress from Alfred Angelo, as well as ordered my BM dresses and Flower Girl Dress. After having a horrible experience with David's Bridal, i was initially very happy with the customer service at AA. The girl who took my dress order was very helpful, not at all pushy, and seemed to want me to have the dress of my dreams rather than just make a sale. I ordered my dress through them, and it came within 1 month, which i was really happy about. The dress was perfect. The only thing i didnt like was my experience with BM dress shopping, i made an appt, but still had to wait almost an hour for service on a day when the store was literally empty. The "mgr" of the store was the one helping us this time, and she was really snippy and pushy and i felt really rushed although we were only there for 30 minutes. Even after she had entered the information about the chosen dress into the computer, my out of state bm's were unable to access it and i had to actually call the store and ask them to update it. Even after i had ordered my BM's dresses, i kept getting phone calls from them asking me to come in and place my BM order, and my FG order, and not to forget all of my accessories.. I just felt really bugged by this, considering my orders had already been placed and this supposedly would have been input into their "statewide" system. I did like the dresses however, and they were relatively inexpensive and came in super-quick.

I want to start by saying I loved my dress. There can't possibly be a dress out there that was better suited for me. I looked at so many different styles and companies, but Alfred Angelo was where I found it. With their sales and package discounts, my dress came to be far less than I expected. I also purchased my bridesmaid's dresses there. With the color choices they have, I was able to find exactly what I wanted and everything came together perfectly. The staff was very helpful and courteous as well. All in all, it was a great place to shop.

After my horrible experience at David's Bridal, Alfred Angelo was AMAZING!!! I had originally gone with David's Bridal for my dress and my bridal party dresses. When I picked up my dress I noticed it was severely yellowed and stained in places. I complained and was told I would receive another. I did, and that one, too, was stained. I ordered another (6 weeks prior to the wedding) and that was was stained! SO we demanded a refund and when we got our money back, we (my mother and I) went to Alfred Angelo's and found an even prettier dress (for a little more). I love the professionalism of the employees and the evident care they take in their dresses.

I found the perfect dress here! They were very helpful and chose dresses that they thought would look good on me and I might like. They got to know you and were very friendly. My dress came later then expected and needed a little altering, but they were able to get it done to pick up the following week. If you get your dress on time make sure to get it altered right away otherwise they will charge you a 100 dollar rush fee. The seamstress is great though! She turned my neckline into a sweetheart neckline and it turned out beautifully. The only thing I didn't like was that she only worked there on Fridays and until only a certain time. Everything ended up working out, but you really have to plan ahead. By the time I was able to pick up my dress some of the girls that worked there new me by name!
